PROVEN TECHNOLOGY. UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE

High intensity curing

Designed for high-speed production, our conventional UV curing lamps provide the broad-spectrum UV output necessary for specialised coatings and high-build varnishes.

Advanced technology

Our custom-cooled reflectors concentrate UV energy exactly where it’s needed while effectively managing infrared heat to protect the press and substrate for the optimal finish.

Intelligent cooling

Our conventional and LED units all utilise high-capacity cooling to ensure stable operating temperatures and to extend the life of the lamps and components.

Live support

Every Benford technology is connected via WIFI so that our engineers can access your system remotely to provide a truly global support, diagnostics and optimisation service, all in real-time.

CONVENTIONAL UV CURING APPLICATIONS

For Sheetfed Offset Printing Presses

Benford Conventional UV curing systems are engineered for seamless integration with both new and existing press builds from manufacturers such as Heidelberg, Komori, Koenig & Bauer (KBA), RMGT, and Manroland.

  • Versatile ink & coating compatibility – provides the high-intensity, broad-spectrum output required to cure the widest range of specialty UV inks, heavy whites, and high-build gloss varnishes.

  • Rapid finishing turnaround – by delivering instant curing across the entire sheet, printers can bypass drying delays and move jobs immediately to the guillotine or folder.

  • High-speed stability – advanced reflector cooling ensures the press remains at a stable temperature even during long, high-speed production runs, protecting the integrity of the machine and the substrate.

For Web & Narrow Web Printing Presses

A robust and reliable choice for labels and packaging, Benford Conventional UV curing systems are highly compatible with web presses from Mark Andy, Gallus, Nilpeter, and Edale, to name a few.

  • Deep curing for heavy coverage – the broad-spectrum power of arc-lamp technology is ideal for deep-curing heavy ink weights and opaque coatings on non-porous films and foils.

  • Consistent quality at speed – engineered to maintain peak performance at maximum web speeds, ensuring uniform curing from the start to the end of the roll.

  • Durable modular design – built for the rigors of 24/7 industrial print production, with easy-access lamp housings for simplified maintenance and minimal downtime.

KEEPING CUSTOMERS HAPPY ALL OVER THE WORLD

We purchased a pre-owned 2013 Heidelberg CX102 7-Color UV press in early 2020. This press came with an IST UV system already installed. It had 3 interdecks, and 3 EOP’s. We were never able to get all lamps working at the same time. After 4 years of constant issues, we decided to look at other options.

We came across Benford UV on the internet. I gave Marc a call, and was able to connect with a couple of his references. After reaching out to them, we decided to purchase a Benford system. Benford came out and did the pre-checks and measurements needed to build us a system.

In August, 2024 they completed the install/training. Everything went flawlessly. We have now been running for seven months with no issues at all. The unit fires right up. The lamps work perfectly. Benford took care of the communication between our press and the UV system as well.

We would highly recommend Benford to anyone looking to put in a dependable, hassle-free UV system.
