Our ECO-LED UV curing systems represent a breakthrough in solid-state UV curing technology. Developed over a 5-year period of research and development, our ECO-LED UV systems are engineered to provide the highest irradiance in the industry with seamless integration with both Sheetfed Offset and Web/Narrow Web printing environments.
Benford ECO-LED UV is built around our high-output lamp head, delivering a peak irradiance of 40W/cm². This level of power allows for instant drying at the highest production speeds, meaning that printers can move to finishing immediately, without the need for spray powder or storage time.

ENGINEERING THAT’S LIGHT YEARS AHEAD
Deeper curing
Our unique lamp design features an extra-wide 56mm exposure window. This provides the substrate with more time under the UV light, which in turn ensures a deep, reliable cure, even on highly absorbent or difficult stocks.
Precision optics
Custom engineered lenses concentrate the power of our UV lamps which allows for curing from a longer distance. This technology allows our lamp heads to be mounted further from the sheet or web.
Intelligent cooling
We have designed our curing systems with large, high-capacity water cooling channels that precisely maintain a steady 25°C (77°F) operating temperature. This prevents condensation and ensures that the LEDs reach their 10,000 – 15,000 hour lifespan.
Live support
Every Benford technology is connected via WIFI so that our engineers can access your system remotely to provide a truly global support, diagnostics and optimisation service, all in real-time.
ECO-LED UV CURING APPLICATIONS
For Sheetfed Offset Printing Presses
Benford ECO-LED UV systems are built to integrate with new presses, and to seamlessly retrofit to existing builds from all major sheetfed press manufacturers, including (but not limited to) Komori, Heidelberg, KBA (Koenig & Bauer), RMGT and Manroland.
- Eliminate spray powder – move straight to the folder or guillotine.
- Advanced thermal control – perfect for heat sensitive plastics and foils.
- Save energy – reduced power consumption by up to 70% when compared toconventional UV curing systems.
For Web & Narrow Web Printing Presses
Benford ECO-LED UV systems are a leading choice for label and packaging printers using web presses from Mark Andy, Gallus, Nilpeter, and Edale.
- High-speed curing – maintain maximum web speeds with a peak output of 40W/cm².
- Compact curing units – our slimline lamp heads allow us to fit our UV curing technology into even the tightest of spaces on narrow web printing lines.
- Clean & safe – ozone free making for a cleaner, safer work environment without the requirement for extraction.
KEEPING CUSTOMERS HAPPY ALL OVER THE WORLD

In 2021, Warren Packaging partnered with Benford UV with the installation of the LED curing system on our Mark Andy P4 13” label press. Installation of the system went very smoothly, and the training for our team to operate the system was timely, detailed and effective. This has proven to be an excellent system that was overall very easy to transition to for our press operators.
Since installing the LED system approximately 1 year ago, we have achieved our goals of improving production speeds (about 15%), as well as raising our level of print quality. This has in turn reduced production costs and strengthened our competitive edge in the industry.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our decision to install the LED curing system, as well as with the partnership and support of Benford UV. We would highly recommend utilizing Benford UV to install this system in order to improve quality and efficiency simultaneously.
