Business Update

Not yet through this quarter, but it has already been a record quarter for new orders, and a great start to the year. Customers should talk to us early in your investment cycle, to ensure you get the best designed curing system, right when you need it.  Among the new orders, is a first from El Salvador, once more displaying our Global credentials. Also interestingly, a number of orders for Infra-Red drying systems for which there remains some demand. Please contact marc@benforduv.com with any enquiries.

For Stef it’s great design followed by a fine wine

Stefano Celestini  heads up our Electrical Engineering team, and is one more of the interesting multi-national team at Benford UV. Stef is originally from the beautiful Italian island of Capri, which he left in 1986, to travel and experience a bit more of the wider world. He was visiting the UK and planning to spend a couple of months on a working holiday, but settled so well he stayed, and then met his future wife, within 2 years.

He joined Benford UV at the end of 2016, and is now responsible for the design of all our Electrical and Control systems. Whilst there are many similarities across these systems, they are bespoke, but as far as possible he is trying to make the systems plug ‘n play and easy for our teams to install on site. Stef does the final testing of all the components of our curing systems, ensuring the very best installation and thereafter a simple operational and maintenance experience for our customers.

It may be hotly debated by some in our team, but it’s fair to say Stef is probably the most accomplished player in our very active Fussball competitions. In his spare time he enjoys walking, photography and appreciating nature, and being an accomplished cook, he loves a good meal with good company, and a fine wine.
